At Brango, accessibility is part of how we do business. We believe everyone deserves to interact with our services, content, and people in ways that feel natural, respectful, and barrier-free.

That’s why we’ve built this policy based on the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA). More importantly, it reflects what we care about: treating everyone with dignity, creating space for independence, and removing obstacles wherever they show up.

Accessibility Statement

We’re committed to building an environment where accessibility is expected, not exceptional. Whether you're a client, job applicant, team member, or community partner, we’ll do everything we can to support your needs on your terms.

We know accessibility isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why we focus on listening, adapting, and taking action quickly and respectfully.

Making it real: What we are doing?

Here’s how we’re putting our commitment into practice:

Clear Plans, Real Progress

  • We’ve created an Accessibility Plan that guides how we prevent and remove barriers. We review it every few years (or sooner, if needed), and you can always ask for it in the format that works best for you.
    Training With Purpose

  • Everyone who works with or for Brango, employees, volunteers, collaborators receives accessibility and human rights training. It’s tailored to their role and updated as our practices evolve.
    Communication That Works for You

  • Need large print? Digital formats? A different way to give feedback? No problem. Just ask, we’ll work with you to find the right fit.
    A More Inclusive Web

  • We’re actively improving our digital spaces to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards, so our website is accessible to as many people as possible.

Accessibility in Employment

We believe inclusion starts from day one. From job postings to onboarding and beyond, we’re ready to accommodate different needs at every stage of employment.

That includes:

  • Letting applicants know accommodations are available

  • Adjusting interviews or tasks when requested

  • Supporting team members with personalized accommodation plans

  • Creating accessible communication tools for performance, training, and emergency planning

  • Ensuring career growth and job changes are inclusive
