Brango Solutions Accessibility Standards Policy


This policy is established by Brango Solutions to govern our programs, services, and facilities in compliance with Regulation 191/11, "Integrated Accessibility Standards" under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.

Our aim is to break down barriers and increase accessibility for persons with disabilities in the areas of information, communications, and employment.


Brango Solutions is dedicated to treating all individuals in a way that allows them to maintain dignity and independence. We believe in integration and equal opportunity. We are committed to meeting the accessibility needs of persons with disabilities in a timely manner, by preventing and removing barriers and fulfilling accessibility requirements under the Regulation and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.

Accessibility Plan

Brango Solutions will develop, maintain, and document an Accessibility Plan outlining our strategy to prevent and remove barriers and improve opportunities for persons with disabilities. This plan will be reviewed and updated at least every five years and posted on our website. Upon request, we will provide a copy of the Accessibility Plan in an accessible format.

Training Employees and Volunteers

Brango Solutions will provide training on the requirements of the Regulation and the Human Rights Code as it pertains to persons with disabilities. This training will be provided to:

  • All our employees and volunteers

  • All persons participating in developing our policies

  • All other persons providing goods, services, or facilities on behalf of Brango Solutions

Training will be appropriate to the duties of the employees, volunteers, and other persons. Employees will receive additional training when changes are made to our accessibility policy and upon hiring.



Brango Solutions will ensure our process for receiving and responding to feedback is accessible to persons with disabilities by providing accessible formats and communication supports upon request.

Accessible Formats and Communication Supports

Upon request, Brango Solutions will provide or arrange for accessible formats and communication supports for persons with disabilities. We will consult with the person making the request to determine suitability.

Accessible Websites and Web Content

We are committed to making our websites and web content accessible, conforming to the World Wide Web Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA criteria.



Brango Solutions will notify employees and the public about accommodation availability for applicants with disabilities in our recruitment process.

Recruitment, Assessment, or Selection Process

We will notify job applicants, when they are individually selected for further assessment or selection, that accommodations are available upon request.

Notice to Successful Applicants

Offers of employment will include notification of our policies for accommodating employees with disabilities.

Informing Employees of Supports

We will inform employees of policies used to support employees with disabilities, including job accommodation policies.

Accessible Formats and Communication Supports for Employees

Upon request, Brango Solutions will consult with employees to provide accessible formats and communication supports for job performance and general employee information.

Workplace Emergency Response Information

We will provide individualized workplace emergency response information to employees with disabilities.

Documented Individual Accommodation Plans

Brango Solutions maintains a written process for developing documented individual accommodation plans for employees with disabilities.

Return to Work Process

We maintain a documented return to work process for employees who have been absent from work due to a disability.

Performance Management, Career Development and Advancement & Redeployment

Our performance management, career development and advancement, and redeployment processes will take into account the accessibility needs of employees with disabilities.
